The seat was small for business class flown from KHI-BAH and not too many latest movies available on this sector. I would
avoid this flight altogether if possible.

This was the old A330 in the fleet, travelling from Bahrain to Bangkok overnight and got on the plane to see the really
old business class seats from the 1980s. Was one of the worst seats I have ever had. Never again. Gulf Air have still not
returned any email from customer services.

BAH-FCO-BAH. A320 for European destinations are new aircraft with flat bed seats. Each seat has it's own AVOD touch
screen. BAH security transfer congested and long queues for all passengers, regardless the class of travel. Overall
experience was excellent and above expectations. The small negative remark is the ground staff and customer service
personnel that are not aware of the types of planes and its configuration. Lounge with drinks available, Italian espresso
and it's possible to have a full meal. The lounge has free internet, a family area, play area for kids with xbox stations
and very clean toilets. The reason of choice for me, the competitive fares, attractive Vs service and comfort offered.

The seat was fairly old. It was supposed to be angled lie flat from what I can gather but the settings did not all work
and I could only attain partial decline which did not help sleep. Privacy was poor and I had a fairly intrusive neighbour
(physically) who monopolised common areas. The earphones for the at seat IFE play in only one ear (personal players were
handed out and were better even if the screen was small). Overall seat poor alongside other leading Middle East airlines
and not favourable to the more dated designs of carriers like KLM and Lufthansa. Seats in rows 1 and 2 may have been
better as they were first class before the merger of the cabin (at least in name).

There is no consistency with their business class product. Having recently flown four
sectors with them on one business trip - I experience 3 different types of Business Class
product. The first A340 had what they call lie flat seats. They are not lie flat they are
angled. The second product on another version of the A340 was one of the old style
business class seats which merely reclined. The third product was on the Jet Airways
Boeing 777 which was a truly lie flat seat in herring bone style similar in layout to the
Virgin Upper Class product. So unless you know which aircraft you are flying in it's pot
luck!

It's pot luck with Gulf Air, the "New" Business Class seats are in fact OK. Good angle to sit and not too bad on
the whole to sleep. Again, the 2-3-2 configuration is annoying if you end up between two total strangers in the
middle of the 3 seats. The privacy screens are a hassle if you actually are traveling with someone and want to have
that conversation!

Rather disappointed after reading about the seat on their website before travelling. In seated location it is okay,
but the angled recline position does not enable any sleep - many passengers around me were complaining that this is
a really uncomfortable sleeping position. Why do Gulf Air not provide a decent flat-bed like British Airways etc.
