Quite disappointed in the seat arrangement. Multi staggered cubicles were very claustrophobic, seats
narrow and bins & features are itsy bitsy and difficult to use. To be honest the whole design is
ridiculous. The old biz pods gave a better feeling of space and comfort.

Had a near-side window seat ie. a window seat but right next to the window - very private indeed, great
to have some drinks next to your chair - water, pepsi etc. Screen very big and new widescreen ICE. Tail
cam is a nice addition to the selection! Middle seats cater for people travelling individually or as a
couple - the rows alternate their layout, makes travelling as a couple relatively private too.
Seat comfy and spacious with a good foot rest - nearly flat. Small mattresses are provided. Bar at the
back of the plane was very sociable and great to chat to fellow passengers. Bar crew could have been
more attentive. Only point on the downside is given the vast size of the plane and the number of business
class seats, when you pop your head up over your 'cubicle', you'd think you're in economy! Not a problem
when only 50% capacity.

A comfortable and well thought through set up with one major exception - the meal service. For reasons
only known to Emirates they do not use trolleys so all meals are served from trays from the galley at the
back of the plane. This results in the very delayed lunch taking over 3 hours to serve!!
On the plus side bar area good, boarding quick from the lounge, ICE superb and plane is very quiet.

Unsurprisingly the best of all EK biz seats. Could be a little softer and/or smoother for
sleeping when fully extended, but apart from that quite comfortable.

As others have pointed out, the seat is narrow and cushions thin. They throw a small
mattress on the seats that helps a bit. The power outlet was dead, USB port did not work
as it was supposed to (you cannot connect an iPod and don't let them tell you they can)
some of the seat adjustments were broken. It is bizzare - they give you a huge screen
which works as a touch screen, an annoying little wireless controller which did not work,
and the cabled handset. None of these was able to effectively and consistently control
anything. The flat setting was a disaster, not because it was slightly inclined but
because the foot end sagged so much it bent my back. A less that fully flat lounge
position was not bad. And there is no convenient place for anything - but they keep
giving you stuff. For an airline that is supposed to be among the best, I have to say,
sub par.

Cubicle-seat design allowed for lots of privacy. Not a totally lie flat bed (not 180
degree), I avoided the slipping down I have experienced in other seats. Efficient
service. Film selection ample and screen size enormous. The business lounge at the back
of the plane was welcomed as a way to stretch, get a nice cup of coffee and some fruits,
relax and meet/chat with other travellers.

Glasgow-Dubai-Melbourne-Auckland and Christchurch-Sydney-Dubai-Glasgow on a mix of 777-300ER
and A340-500 Equipment. On flights to/from Dubai (777), seats were wide, offered plenty of
legroom. However, the seat was quite hard, there was little privacy and it didn't recline
fully. IFE was excellent. On A340 flights the seat was a little more private but there was
less legroom and seat width. When fully reclined (again, not flat), my feet were crushed by
the seat "pod" in front. The screen was a good size though and everything worked.

Night flight from Milan Malpensa to Dubai. During the day Emirates provides flat seats and
during the night the seat reclines to a relaxed position but it's not full flat and I couldn't
sleep even for a minute. Reached Dubai tired and not relaxed at all. Would not opt again for a
night flight with Emirates any time soon. Last experiment with Emirates on a night route was
from Singapore and the experience had been even worse.

DXB-PER. The business class cabin with only about 5 people. The seat reclined plenty and the
massage feature in the chair was nice.

Aircraft ranging from 777, A340 to A380s. I found the pod seats comfortable to sleep on,
they are not fully flat but are moulded so that your body fits. I had a better sleep in
business than First. ICE system very good, except a bit tricky to use at times (touch
screen). I loved every part of my trip with Emirates and will be back to use them.

Refurbished seats were narrow with phone/AV control sticking out of armrest making them the
same width as economy, seating was 2-3-2 as opposed to 2-2-2 with other airlines. Leg room was
excellent - recline not flat.

The A380 was very good if not quite as good as I had expected. The seats were comfortable but
quite narrow. Good for sleeping and not uncomfortable as a seat, although shoulder room and
legroom is a little constrained in both cases. ICE is good. Food is adequate, but not as good
as many competitors. Older 777 seats were good armchairs and very comfortable for a daylight
flight, but would have disappointed on an overnight flight. The newer 777 angled lie flat
seats are not great as sleeper beds and not particularly good as seats..

Old style seating. On a 7 hour day flight you can handle without problem. IFE is great. If
you happen to leave your TV open sideways, watch that the person in front does not recline as
the TV gets stuck behind their seat.

The privacy was very good, amenities nice and the cabin team serving was excellent. Leg room
was adequate although visually it appeared to be limited. Storage was excellent although the
sidewall (window) storage bin lids kept popping open if you touched them by accident. Plenty
of storage space for bags, papers/magazines, Etc. The lie-flat seat was OK but not great. I
found their 777-300ER seats far more comfortable to sleep on.
